Opened in February 2009 by leading chef Andrew McConnell, the restaurant reflects his passion for exceptional and often unusual produce. Cutler & Co. strikes a balance between elegance and simplicity to produce fine dining in a relaxed, welcoming environment. For entree, the steak tartare, herb emulsion, leek and crème fraîche appeals, as does the perennial fave being the Hervey Bay scallops, shaved abalone, soy milk custard & chilled dashi, while for a tidy main the roast chicken, house ground polenta, baby corn & miso or the roasted suckling pig (1/4 beast) to share at $220 a pop will transport you to very enjoyable and succulent places.
