Situated on the doorstep of Port Phillip Bay, Luna Park is the face of St Kilda. For over 100 years it has catered to children of all ages, with rides or activities for everyone from adrenaline pumping, through to just plain fun. The Scenic Railway Roller Coaster has been the main attraction since the gates opened in 1912, and is the oldest operating wooden roller coaster in the world. For those of you who like to remain on the ground, you can get lost in the Amazing Mirror Maze or go for a ride around the Carousel. When the excitement wears off, you don’t have to go far for a bite, with Café Luna on-site and various stands around the park. Luna Park is open most days during the summer months, and on weekends and public holidays during the winter months, so you’ll never have an excuse not to visit.
